LAUNCH OF KAREEMA CARE CHARITY ORGANIZATION
Effective July 28, 2021, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Kareema Care, a 501(c)(3) charity organization that aims to offer support to orphans and those in need by means of love, hope, faith, and monetary aid.
According to UNICEF (the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund), there are roughly 153 million orphans worldwide. Every day, an estimated 5,700 more children become orphans. The poverty rates worldwide are staggering. Recent estimates for global poverty are that 9.2% of the world, or 689 million people, live in extreme poverty on $1.90 or less a day, according to the World Bank. Children should not be deprived of the support they need after loss of their parent(s) at a young age. Offering emotional and monetary support to orphans will help fill the void in their lives so they can become productive and successful members of society. Kareema Care believes in generosity and care as two crucial components to touching people's lives and it aims to serve as a source of light to brighten the days of orphans and needy in their darkest hour.
